The CMP Marksmanship Centers are open for Air Rifle and Air Pistol Marksmanship Clinics and Competitions. 

CMP Marksmanship Center - North Camp Perry, Port Clinton, OH Contact:  Katie Harrington kharrington@odcmp.com, 419.635.2141 ext. 1131 The  CMP Marksmanship Center - North is a major part of a “Joint Use Training Facility” that the Ohio Army National Guard and CMP constructed jointly.  It is located on the east side of Camp Perry’s Petrarca Range. The Center has a common area with classrooms, offices, restrooms and a foyer.  The south side houses expanded engagement skills training facilities to be used by the Ohio National Guard to train military personnel.  The larger north end of the facility is a 20,000 sq. foot state-of-the-art air gun range.  The Competition Center has 80 firing points, each equipped with MEGALink electronic targets.  All shots are instantly displayed on monitors beside each shooter and on display screens visible to spectators in the center area of the range.  All firing is controlled by a computer operations center in the middle of the range.   CMP Marksmanship Center - South 1470 Sentinel Drive Anniston, AL Contact:  James Hall, jhall@odcmp.com, 256.835.8455 ext. 1145 The CMP Marksmanship Center - South is an indoor training and competition facility, with an 80-point air gun range that is equipped with electronic targets.  For spectator viewing the range is equipped with 8 - 65" LCD Display TV's.  The Center has a common area with classrooms, offices, restrooms and a foyer.   2011 Dates To Be Announced                               Camp Perry Open Program               Camp Perry Open Online Registration           Open Public Shooting Shooters, including aspiring new shooters, who live in the Camp Perry, Ohio area or Anniston, Alabama  area are invited to take advantage of the opportunity to do practice shooting on  at the Marksmanship Center air gun ranges.  Both 80-point, 10-meter air gun range are fully equipped with electronic targets that accommodate air rifle, air pistol or National Match Air Rifle shooting. All shooters who use the range must complete a CMP Eligibility Affidavit and Liability Waiver (one-time only) and attend a short safety briefing.  Those under the age of 18 must have a signed parental consent form, or fill one out at check in.  The cost is $5.00 per day for adults and only $2.00 per day for juniors (high school aged).   Shooters may bring their own air rifles or air pistols as long as they are .177 cal. with muzzle velocities of 600 fps or less.  Sporter class air rifles (Daisy M853) are available as loaners at the range at no cost.  We also have the new National Match Air Rifles available to rent for $5.00.  Shooters should supply their own pellets or may purchase them at the range for $7.50 (pack of 500 pellets). National Match Air Rifle Competitions National Match Air Rifle (NMAR) is a new multi-faceted air rifle competition discipline that is fired indoors or outdoors on 10-meter (33 feet) ranges. NMAR events simulate highpower rifle shooting and are fired on reduced highpower rifle targets. NMAR offers both serious, high-level competition for dedicated competitive rifle shooters as well as a recreation-oriented shooting sports activity for new and casual shooters.
